Prodcution.
Our best white wine grapes are aged in 250 - 500 liter French oak barrels for at least 6-8 months. It is organically grown and harvested twice by hand. The ripe grape material comes in the wooden barrel and the first harvest in the steel tanks. The wine was bottled in July and aged further 4 months in bottle before being sold. The blending of the barrels and steel tanks usually takes place in June. We try to create a typical Rotgipfler with a strong body, but at the same time a certain freshness and light acidity.
